About to ICCESSD 2026
The International Conference on Civil Engineering, Architecture and Structural Seismic Resistance (ICCESSD 2026) will be held grandly in Sanya, a tropical coastal city in China and the core area of Hainan Free Trade Port. This conference focuses on the cutting-edge development of civil and architectural technology and structural seismic and disaster prevention, aiming to build a high-level, interdisciplinary international academic exchange platform, gathering experts and scholars, design engineers, researchers, government managers, and representatives of the construction industry in the fields of structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, building materials, disaster prevention and mitigation, earthquake engineering, urban safety, and intelligent monitoring. The conference will conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as innovative design of high-performance seismic resistant structural systems (such as isolation, energy dissipation and seismic reduction technologies), nonlinear dynamic analysis and performance evaluation of complex building structures, application of new high resilience building materials in seismic engineering, wind and earthquake response control of high-rise and large-span structures, seismic reinforcement and resilience improvement technology of existing buildings, BIM and digital twin based building lifecycle safety management, earthquake disaster risk assessment and urban seismic planning, durability and structural safety of buildings in marine and tropical climate environments, and application of intelligent sensors and structural health monitoring systems in disaster warning. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, and engineering case sharing, we aim to promote theoretical breakthroughs and engineering practices in building safety and seismic technology. ICCESSD 2026 emphasizes the core concepts of "building solidity, structural safety, and technological disaster prevention", and is committed to enhancing the seismic resilience of major projects and urban infrastructure, serving the national disaster prevention and mitigation and safety development strategies. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in international journals indexed by SCI, EI, or Scopus to enhance academic influence.

All full paper submissions to the ICCESSD 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICCESSD 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to iccessd@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
